The Joint Admission Test for Master's Program will be held on February 11, 2024

Indian Institute of Technology - Madras (IIT-M) will open the application window for Joint Admission Test for Masters 2024 in the first week of September.

JAM 2024 is a computer-based examination that will be held in over 100 cities across the country in seven subjects - Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics and Physics.

Candidates can apply through https://jam.iitm.ac.in.

All those who have completed graduation or are currently in final year of graduation program can apply. There is no age limit. Foreign nationals with Indian degrees are eligible to apply, subject to the policy of the admission institution.

Registration opens on September 5 and ends on October 13 The exam will be held on February 11, 2024

Candidates on the merit list will be eligible for admission to around 3,000 seats in various postgraduate programs at IITs and over 2,000 seats at Indian Institute of Science and National Institute of Technology, IIEST Shivpur, SLIET, DIAT through CCMN.

Scores will be used for admission into M.Sc. MSc (Tech), MSc – M.Tech dual-degree, MS-Research, Joint MSc+PhD and MSc-PhD dual degree in various institutes. JAM 2024 score is valid for one year only. For admission in 2024-25 academic year, candidates must appear for JAM 2024. More detailed information is available on the institute's website, added a release.
